Welcome to JohnRamon.com, my name is John Ramon I'm the Lead Project Manager for ReactionWeb.com. I started my web design experience working with PHP and MySQL, for companies like AT&T and Comcast. Now I work with ColdFusion almost exclusively for ReactionWeb. All my personal sites where in PHP so I moved JohnRamon.com to a CF Server, giving me yet another place to work on my skills. This site is static for now, but over time I will move all the info to the database and get all the features like comments working.

If ColdFusion has to get pages from cheap dedicated servers, it may save you good time. After domain name registration, you can have your site's web space allocated. You also need to take care of the html or dynamic pages if you are looking for great search engine ranking of your web pages. The downlaod time can be enhanced by using cable internet. If all this sounds too complicated then an oracle certification or 642-453 test would be a good option to consider.
