This Saturday I attended the Apollo Ranch mini conference in Boulder Colorado. I told myself over 6 years ago I would never go to Boulder, but anything to do with web development could get me there, and this is one of them. So here is my review in no order, just my thoughts on it. I won't go into detail on what was shown for the Beta release.
So the event was hosted by XylemCCI and sponsored by Adobe. It was a great mini conference, lots of people showed up, they even had a comedian do stand up between presentations. First up to present was Mike Chambers he showed some new beta features, and how much superior Mac are to Windows. There were a few real world demos for several apps using Apollo, including the eBay desktop application, and a Digg app.
The presentations where great and I did walk away with quite a bit. I found some cool resources there like video.onflex.com Mike and the others post Flex videos even some showing off Philo. I really enjoyed it I have no complaints about it, even had beer...sweet.
